Classic Performance Katana

This is a Katana.  

Although made from 7075 aluminum with blunt edges safe for contact, in all other respects the Classic Performance Katana looks and handles like a traditional Japanese Katana.  

At just over 1/4 inch thick and weighing around 700g with additional features like distal taper, a flared kissaki base, and a raised iori-mune spine for smooth drawing and re-sheathing, it rivals the lightest of Japanese Iaito in imitating the real thing. But unlike dedicated Iaito practice swords, its thick blunt edges are designed to safely give and receive repeated contact* without denting or chipping making it an extremely versatile tool for any Japanese martial arts practitioner. 

While not as light as the Elite or Standard katana, the Classic Performance Katana is made for dazzling stunt and theatrical performance.  Its stiffer cross section will give excellent response and feedback to the performer looking for more subtle contact and robust choreography than thinner blades can provide.  

 Additionally, it just looks great, and for an extra price can be almost infinitely customizable.  

Standard handles are black or light brown wrap.  Current Tsuba options are while supplies last.
